Your duties will include:
Design and develop- turning research ideas into technical plans using CAD software.Testing - collecting and analysing data from tests on prototypes.Modifying designs and re-testing - Developing prototypes and designing for manufacture.Skills and interestsStrong problem-solving skillsA creative approach for generating new ideasA sound knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Inventor)Good mechanical aptitude and knowledgeGood communication skills (English an advantage both spoken and written)An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methodsQualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience with AutoCAD and/or InventorIndustrial Designer (Code : ID)
Your duties will include:
Sketching initial design ideasDeveloping design concepts using CADMaking prototypes and working modelsTesting design conceptsWorking with engineers, artists, programmers and production, to evaluate and develop design conceptsGenerating ideas and brainstorming as part of a teamSkills and interests
Strong problem-solving skillsA creative approach for generating new ideasGood mechanical aptitude and knowledgeGood communication skills (English an advantage both spoken and written)An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methodsExperience with 2D programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel DrawExperience with 3D programs such as Inventor, AutoCAD, SketchUpQualifications
Degree in Industrial Design or equivalentMechanical Design Engineer (Code : MDE)
Your duties will include:
