One of our business units, PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) was established in 1979 with a plantation area of 5,000 hectares in the province of Lampung in South Sumatra. By 1997, the plantation had grown to 33,600 hectares with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of a proprietary strain of Cayenne pineapples.

Today, GGP is the world's third largest canned pineapple producer in the world. Its worldwide export destinations extend to 33 countries, with a world market share of 20%.

Lowongan Kerja Great Giant Livestock

PT. Great Giant Livestock (GGL) is a cattle-fattening business whose feedlots are located within GGP's plantation areas. GGL purchases domestic cattle and fattens them with pinemeal (feed made out of pineapple peel) and other organic materials over a period of 90 to 100 days. The cattle are then sold live on the hoof to cattle sellers, slaughterhouses and meat processors in the Jakarta Raya Area (Jabotabek) and West Java

GGL also processes pineapple peel, an abundant waste product that is difficult to dispose of, into pinemeal for internal use and for export to overseas markets, mainly Japan.

1. IPK 2.75 (minimal)
