Pupuk Kaltim bermula dari proyek pupuk lepas pantai di atas dua kapal milik Pertamina yang kemudian sesuai Keppres No. 43/1975 proyek tersebut dialihkan ke darat. Kemudian melalui Keppres No. 39/1976, Pertamina menyerahkan pengelolaannya kepada Departemen Perindustrian.

Dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga kerja dan untuk menyiapkan kader, PT. Pupuk Kaltim memberi kesempatan untuk mengikuti seleksi sebagai calon karyawan PT PUPUK KALTIM dengan syarat-syarat sebagai berikut :

01. MANAGER - ACCOUNTING & TAX

o Possess at least a Bachelor”s Degree, Master”s Degree/ Post Graduate Degree, in Finance/ Accountancy/ Taxation or equivalent.
o Required skill(s) Accounting, Taxation, Finance Management and financial analysis, Team Leader, Decision Making.
o At least 10 years of experience in Accounting/ Audit Firm or Mining Companies. Familiar with IFRS, Indonesia Taxation and Mining Regulation.
o Demonstrated high level of leadership and managerial skills with a minimum of 5 years prior supervisory/ management experience.
o Demonstrated extensive background in the financial area including financial analysis, financial reporting, financial modeling, tax reporting.

02. MANAGER - INTERNAL AUDIT

o Tertiary qualifications (S1 degree) in business management/ accounting, Master degree is preferred.
o At least 10 (ten) years internal audit experience. Ideally in a large scale corporate environment covering operational, risk, assurance audits as well as audit work at a recognized senior level and exposure to the oil, gas or mining industries.
o Managerial and supervisory experience.
o Project management skills.
o Attention to detail together with analytical and problem solving skills.
o Hold professional/ expertise certification from recognized professional institution (such as Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditor).

03. SENIOR SPECIALIST – GENERAL TRAINING

o A bachelor”s degree in human resources management, education or social sciences, or studies with core concentrations in human resources management or business.
o Considerable experience in the delivery of managerial and leadership subjects (as a trainer for minimum 5 years).
o Have knowledge of adult learning theory, the methods and principles of curriculum and training design, and the best practices for teaching groups and individuals.
o Instructional and facilitation skills.
o Time management, analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
o Ability to formulate learning objectives, to evaluate training effectiveness, and to assess training needs.
o Have the ability to instruct and communicate with organizational personnel regarding training needs for management.

04. ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

o Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
o Experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
o Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain customer relations.
o Knowledge and ability to implement safety policies & procedures.
o Have good knowledge and experience in mechanical installation techniques and standards.
o Have high personal energy level and enthusiastic to work in a dynamic project environment.

05. COORDINATOR HSE

o Bachelor Degree (S1) with at least 3 years experience or Diploma 3 with at least 5 years experience in a mining environment, preferably in the maintenance and/or logistic operations, such that a good understanding has developed of the mining operation in general and ore specifically of the maintenance and logistics works.
o Safety Related qualification or experience i.e. in risk assessment, job safety analysis, accident investigation, etc. is desirable as this position will be required to lead / facilitate the process and train / coach others.

06. ENGINEER - GEOTECHNICAL

o S1 degree in Geotechnical/ Geology or Mining Engineering.
o Having 3 years in mining operation experience.
o Previous exploration experience would be of benefit.
o Basic knowledge and understanding of rock properties.
o Initiative in all aspects of the profession.
o Working knowledge of Geotechnical software.

07. PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

o Minimum 3 (three) years working experience in mechanical disciplines (preferably coal fire power plant construction/ operation, rotating machinery) with sufficient exposure to capital projects.
o Understand project management tools and techniques.
o Knowledge and experience in equipment installation techniques and standards.
o Familiar/ experience working in a dynamic project environment.

08. SECRETARY - MANAGER

o Minimum D3 Secretary Academy graduate or equivalent, plus minimum 3 years of experience in secretarial duties.
o Written and oral communication skills in Bahasa and English (minimum Level 6).
o Skills in standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
o Ability to keep confidentiality of sensitive information.
o Responsiveness, work accuracy, initiative, creativity, assertiveness, patience, flexibility.

09. SUPERVISOR - ADMINISTRATION

o S1 degree in any related discipline with at least 3 year experience or D3 with 5 year experience in administration work.
o Experience in asset management.

o Experience in operating Ellipse system for creating purchase requisition (preferable).
o Knowledge in the foundation of IT Infrastructure Library (preferable).

10. ENGINEER - MINING

o Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.
o Having 2 years experience in Mine technical engineering position with practical production experience an advantage.
o Excellent skills in computing and data analysis programmers.
o Having experience in using MINEX software.
o Excellent planning, analytical, organization and problem solving skills together with mechanical aptitude to solve technical difficulties.

2. Superintendent Dispute Resolution (Code: SDR)

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in (Law, Social Science, Psychology or Mass Communication) with 7 – 9 years working experience in industrial relation.
• Strong knowledge of Manpower Regulations of Indonesia.
• Capability to do negotiation in conflict and pressure situation.
• Maintain good relation with officials from the Department of Manpower, Disnaker, Industrial Relation Court and all Unions in KPC as well as with KPC employees.

3. Specialist Legal (Code: SP-LEG)

• Law faculty graduate from reputable university having GPA minimum 3.00.

4. Engineer – Mining (Code: EM)

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.

5. Coordinator HSE (Code: HSE)

• Bachelor Degree (S1) with at least 3 years experience or Diploma 3 with at least 5 years experience in a mining environment, preferably in the maintenance and/or logistic operations, such that a good understanding has developed of the mining operation in general and ore specifically of the maintenance and logistics works.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and skills is desirable.
• Safety Related qualification or experience i.e. in risk assessment, job safety analysis, accident investigation, etc. is desirable as this position will be required to lead / facilitate the process and train / coach others.

6. Project - Engineer Electrical (Code: PEE)

• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years in electrical engineering of relevant mining / industry experiences.
• Have an understanding of how to manage projects, including engineering, procurement and construction of fixed plant s electrical and control systems.

7. Project Engineer - Civil (Code: PEC)

• S1 degree in Civil Engineering.
• Having min 3 years plus of relevant industry / management experiences, and having budgeting skills are essential for senior position.
• Extensive experience and proven skills in Civil Engineering / Construction and / or earthmoving industries. Having experience in Civil Projects at mining industry will be an advantageous.

1. Manager Coal Technology (Code: MCT)

• Tertiary qualifications in Geology, Chemistry or Metallurgy.
