1. GAS SPECIALIST
Position Description:
Support Wartsila Indonesia internal and external customers in all the technical issues involving the Wartsila gas engines SG and DF family.
- Accountable for reducing unplanned engine shutdowns on the local market to a level satisfying our external local customers
- Develop the technical competencies for the DF and SG gas engines for WID own personnel and external customers.
- Advanced trouble shooting when needed on the gas engines driven power plant installation.
- Respond to all the technical inquiries from internal and external customers involving the DF and SG gas engines.
- Perform periodic site survey on the gas plant installations to assure that they are operated and maintained under the normal Wartsila standard.
- Provide pro-active dialog with the onsite front line service FS and CM when dealing with gas engines related issues.
- Act as L1 solver for tech request involving DF and SG gas engines.
- Provide technical support for external customers, especially in engine and installation related issues for W34SG and DF installations
- Analyse and improve gas engines performance
- Assist in handling warranty matters by giving technical support
- Give technical support and follow-up the implementation of modifications for improved performance and low warranty cost
- Perform site surveys, field tests, trouble shooting and measurements
- Collect and report field experience to Wärtsilä Product Factory Technical Service and Wärtsilä Engine Division Technical Service
- Installation commissioning

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Technical University / BSC, MSc (Eng.) or knowledge gained through experience
Experience:
- Electrical or electromechanical background.
- At least 10 years field experiences on the operation, maintenance involving the Wartsila gas engine DF and SG family (Commissioning experience will be regarded as a plus)
- Extensive knowledge of the Wartsila different control systems UNIC, WECS.
2. SENIOR SERVICE ENGINEER
Position Description:
- Perform basic troubleshooting, complex repairs, complete overhauls and commissioning activities on equipment families according to customer requirements as well as quality, health, safety and environmental and cost targets.
- Have broad knowledge of Wärtsilä equipment families.
Impact:
- May lead and manage assigned team and related activities during the work execution.
- Interact with customers during the work execution.
- Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
- Create the Service Work Reports.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Advice and promote available products and solutions to customers.
